In referring to duck hunting on the Mississippi Flyway, we mean Mallard ducks as they make up about 90% of ducks going south.

In forty-five years I have listened to hundreds of thousands of Mallards on the water before day break, flying overhead, coming into the decoys, being run out of the decoys, dropping in like “flies” in front of a bad weather front, and finally, “talking it up” at sunset just after coming in to feed and rest for the night. All this listening has been put into this call so you can mimic the Mallard hen communicating with other ducks.

This call has been designed for you to deliver every call from the loudest hale, to the longest drawn-out lonesome hen, to the softest feeder with perfection while you outsmart the wariest of ducks.
