The Crooked
Slough duck call mimics the
Mallard hen so realistically, it
will amaze you when you first
try the call. From the loudest
hail call, to the softest
feeder,
you’ll find this call to sound
like the real thing. Featuring acrylic
construction with a mylar reed,
our duck call will deliver you a lifetime
of superior sound and stability over the years of use
during the harshest hunting conditions. |

Why choose
acrylic over polycarbonate duck
calls?
-
Durability
- Acrylic is rock hard and will not crack
or break like a
polycarbonate calls
can. There is no reason your
Crooked Slough acrylic duck
call shouldn't last you a lifetime.
-
Tone
& Clarity - Because
the polycarbonate is a
softer, cheaper material, it
will not deliver the tone or clarity
the acrylic calls do.
-
Sound Consistency
- When polycarbonate
calls are molded, they are
inconsistent from one call to the
another. You can buy one that sounds great,
then get a second from the same manufacture, and it will
blow totally different. Our
acrylic calls are consistent
and all have the same great
quality sound.

Crooked
Slough Duck Hunting Company
offers Illinois duck hunting
trips. Our duck hunts take
place in an 80 acre flooded
corn field with
approximately 40 acres of
corn left standing to
attract ducks. Last season
we held thousands of
Mallards from November 1st
to December 28th (the end of
the season).
Our hunting property is
privately owned and overseen
by the land owners who put
their emphasis on quality
hunting. Check out our
aerial photo on our duck
hunting page. |
